Overview:
Ridge Baptist Association is situated in the fastest-growing county in the U.S., and we are seeking a passionate and experienced man of God to fill the role of Associational Mission Strategist. The ideal candidate will have a strong and growing personal walk with the Lord while being well-versed in all aspects of gospel ministry and possess a profound ability to cultivate meaningful one-on-one relationships with pastors, lay leaders, churches, and community leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate and oversee the vision of the Ridge Baptist Association.
- Develop and nurture strong relationships with pastors, lay leaders, and churches.
- Lead initiatives to plant new churches, encourage and assist struggling churches, and engage the association in impactful activities.
- Collaborate with the Associational churches to identify ministry growth and expansion opportunities.
- Assist churches in various aspects of church life (i.e. Missions, Ministry, Grievance, Governance, Finance, and Fellowship).
Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in ministry.
- Affirm the Baptist Faith & Message 2000
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse people group.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for churches of all shapes, sizes, and ethnicities.
- Commitment to making a positive impact in Eastern Polk County, FL.
